StartHR (“we”, “us”) helps small US tech companies with technical hiring, delivery, and setup. We keep the personal data we handle to the minimum an engagement needs, and we apply the same standard to everyone — clients, candidates, and specialists — wherever they are based.
What we collect
- From clients: name, work email, company details, and the role, task, or technical problem you share with us — used solely to run your engagement.
- From candidates and specialists: CV and professional history, contact details, and interview and reference notes — used to review fit and, with their agreement, introduce them to a client.
- From this website: no tracking cookies, no analytics beacons, no ad pixels. The booking link goes to our scheduling provider (Calendly), which has its own privacy policy.
How we use it
We process client data to perform our agreement with you, and candidate data to match people with roles, tasks, or teams they have asked us to consider. We never sell personal data, and we never share a candidate’s profile with a client without the candidate’s prior agreement.
Retention
Engagement data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 24 months, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Candidate profiles are deleted on request at any time.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal data at any time. Write to info@starthr.org and we will respond within 30 days.
Cross-border handling
Our engagements are international by nature. Where personal data moves across borders in the course of an engagement, we limit it to what the engagement requires and put contractual safeguards in place with everyone who handles it.
